100 Yearbook 2017 ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES ABROAD 2017 Architect Alejandro Baptista (Chile and Peru) Full Professor of Projects 3 and 4 in the Architecture program. Architect Eduardo Bertiz (Chile and Peru) Full Professor of Projects in the Architecture program. They led an academic trip, along with a group of 31 students from the Project 4 course in the Architecture program, to the cities of Santiago, Chile, and Lima, from August 31 to September 9. Architect Andrés Eliseo Cabrera (Colombia) Full Professor of Bioclimatic Design and Coordinator of the La Casa Uruguaya project. He presented on the experience of La Casa Uruguaya, a self-sustaining housing project created by students, graduates, and faculty members of Universidad ORT Uruguay, winner of first prize in the 2015 Solar Decathlon Latin America and the Caribbean international competition, at the First National Symposium on Sustainable Municipalities, as part of ExpoSolar Colombia 2017, Medellín, May 19–21. He led a workshop on Bioclimatic Architecture and Renewable Energy in Small- and Medium-Scale Projects organized by the Colombian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, Cali, May 22–23.
