71 OUTREACH ACTIVITIES 2017 Jewish Studies Teacher Training Course - Shoah: The Human Condition and Memory The Department of Jewish Studies organized the sixth edition of the course *Shoah: The Human Condition and Memory*, which was attended by teachers from the national secondary school system and educators from the non-formal education sector. The course, which took place from July 10 to 14, aimed to introduce teachers to relevant aspects of the Shoah (Jewish Holocaust) and concepts such as human rights, genocide, and memory. It was declared of educational interest by the Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Emprendetón Entrepreneurship Marathon On June 27, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, CPA Innovation, and the Da Vinci Foundation launched the third edition of the Emprendetón competition under the slogan “Let your ideas be a solution!” The competition awards prizes to the four most innovative projects submitted in response to challenges proposed by companies in the agriculture, banking, Internet of Things (IoT), and healthcare sectors. The winning teams received a $1,000 prize and the opportunity to receive support through a mentorship program to develop and launch their projects.
