102 2018 Yearbook Architect Francisco Arellano (Chile) Architect Gabriel Fernández Birriel (Chile) Instructors for Project 4 in the Architecture program. They accompanied a group of 35 students from the Project 4 course in the Architecture program on an academic trip to Santiago, Chile. The itinerary included curricular activities for the course and visits to architecture schools and studios, as well as urban tours and visits to significant architectural works, in Santiago, Chile, from September 3 to 7. Architect Andrés Eliseo Cabrera (United Arab Emirates) Professor of Bioclimatic Architecture and Renewable Energy and director of the La Casa Uruguaya team. He traveled with a group of architecture students and graduates, as well as interior design majors, to the Solar Decathlon Dubai 2018 Solar Village, where they visited more than 20 prototype homes incorporating the latest available renewable energy technologies, in Dubai on November 21. She delivered the lecture “Commercial Interior Design: Brand, Retail, and Visual Merchandising” and participated in the academic coordination of the Interior Design Seminar organized by the University of Salamanca and the Cultural Exchange Association (AICU), Salamanca, February 5–9.
