President of the Center for Research and Dissemination of Sephardic Culture (CIDICSEF). He presented his book *Maimonides: Thought for the 21st Century*, alongside Esther Mostovich de Cukierman, at the 15th Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival, on February 5. Julián Schvindlerman (Argentina) Writer and international political analyst specializing in Middle Eastern affairs. He presented his book The Hidden Letter: History of an Arab-Jewish Family, alongside Gabriel Goldman, president of the Association of Uruguayan Friends of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Prof. René Fuentes, writer and professor at the School of Communication and Design, on May 31. Prof. Susana Poch (Argentina) Professor of Modern Literature at the University of Buenos Aires. Mag. Ethel Barylka (Israel) Expert in Jewish education and specialist in education and gender. Holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Judaism from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Mag. Barylka presented her book Judaism in the Feminine, and Prof. Poch participated as a guest panelist on August 28. Victoria Eglau (Argentina) Correspondent and contributor to Germany’s national radio station Deutschlandradio and the German Jewish weekly Jüdische Allgemeine, based in Argentina. She interviewed Prof. Charlotte de Grünberg, Director General of Universidad ORT Uruguay, about the Jewish community in Uruguay and her life story, October 25. Dr. Alberto Spektorowski (Israel) Professor of Political Theory and Comparative Politics at Tel Aviv University. He delivered the lectures “Israel and Liberalism” and “Trump’s Decision on Jerusalem: Motivation and Implications” at the 15th Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival, February 5 and 6. He delivered the lectures “Israel and the Jewish People. Challenges in the Face of the Crisis of the Democratic World,” June 18, and “Syria: Keys to the New Post-Conflict Geopolitics,” June 20.
