Mag. Gian Carlo Iannacone (Peru) Genetic Analyst at the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences. He delivered the lecture “Genetic Structure and Kinship Analysis in the Peruvian Andean Region: Forensic Applications and the Search for Missing Persons” at the 9th Latin American Conference on Forensic Genetics, organized by the Latin American Society of Forensic Genetics and the Department of Biotechnology at Universidad ORT Uruguay, August 27–29. Dr. Maribel Fernández (United Kingdom) Professor in the Department of Computer Science at King’s College London. She conducted research activities with members of the Computer Science Department and delivered the lecture “A category-based model for attribute-based access control,” May 15–19. Faculty of Communication and Design Dr. José Luis Fernández (Argentina) Full Professor in the Department of Semiotics at the University of Buenos Aires. He presented his book Media Platforms: Analysis and Design of New Experiences, alongside Dr. Fernando Andacht, full professor (Grade 5) at the University of the Republic, and Mag. Daniel Mazzone, professor of Digital Journalism and academic coordinator of Journalism and Digital Content, on June 28.
