58 2018 Yearbook Institute of Education: Keys to Incorporating Digital Tools and Platforms into Mathematics Instruction in Lower Secondary Education The objective of this project is to identify, describe, and analyze pedagogical practices involving the use of digital tools and platforms for teaching mathematics in lower secondary education. It also proposes developing concrete intervention strategies to improve the use of these tools and platforms, and to understand the teaching practices based on blended learning strategies that teachers promote through the use of digital tools. Principal Investigators: Ana Olmedo and Denise Vaillant Funding: National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) Duration: 18 months Training for school principals within the framework of the Ceibal Plan This project aims to provide training to principals from the National Public Education Administration (ANEP) through the postgraduate Diploma in Educational Planning and Management.
