69 OUTREACH ACTIVITIES 2018 Department of Jewish Studies Teacher Training Course - Shoah: The Human Condition and Memory The Department of Jewish Studies organized the seventh edition of the course “Shoah: The Human Condition and Memory,” which was attended by teachers from the national secondary school system and educators from the non-formal education sector. The course, held from July 9 to 13, aimed to introduce teachers to relevant aspects of the Shoah (Jewish Holocaust) and concepts such as human rights, genocide, and memory. It was declared of educational interest by the Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Faculty of Engineering 2018 Project Fair at the Faculty of Engineering On March 22 and August 23, two sessions of the Project Fair took place at the Faculty of Engineering, aimed at students in the Programmer Analyst, Bachelor of Systems, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, and Electronics Engineering programs. Students chose from more than 40 proposals with academic or research value to develop in their final-year projects. For participating companies and institutions—such as BBVA, Creditel, GeneXus, INIA, ISBEL, PayGroup, Qualia Fintech, Software Nutricional, TicketBus, Tilsor, TuNanny, Vipermed, and Zafrales—this event provides an opportunity to engage students with their proposals and recruit talent.
