79 Fourteenth Edition of the "Design Your Room" Contest In August, the School of Architecture, with the support of Radio Disney, organized the fourteenth edition of the "Design Your Room" contest. A total of 65 students in their fifth and sixth years of high school from public and private schools across the country participated. The first-place winner, Giuliana Pozzi, a student at Liceo No. 1 in San Carlos, received a full scholarship to pursue a degree in Architecture or Interior Design, and the two second-place winners, Camila Garagorri from Liceo IAVA and Camila Giaconi from Liceo Pastorino, each received a 50% scholarship to pursue one of these degrees. Architecture Students Carry Out Construction Projects at La Muralla Foundation Students in the Construction Procedures 4 course of the Architecture program carried out practical construction projects during the second semester of 2018 at the headquarters of La Muralla, an NGO located in Arroyo Seco whose goal is the social inclusion of low-income children and adolescents. Workshop “Design Tools for Architecture” On October 9, the workshop “Design Tools for Architecture” was held at the School of Architecture, led by Architect Pablo Raviolo, professor of Drawing 1 and 2, and Architect Fernando Montaño, professor of Technical Design 2. This activity, aimed at secondary school teachers, sought to facilitate the exchange of opinions and experiences regarding design tools in architecture in light of new technologies and collaborative methodologies.
