She participated as a delegate from Uruguay in the first meeting of the Latin American Structural Timber Network, organized by the UC Center for Innovation in Timber, where she gave a presentation titled “The State of the Art of Structural Timber in Uruguay. Advances and Challenges in Architecture and Civil Engineering,” Santiago, Chile, September 4–6. Dr. Pablo Frontini, Architect (Ecuador) Project Instructor. He participated as a visiting professor in the Master’s Program in Advanced Architectural Projects at the University of Cuenca, a graduate program offered in partnership with the Barcelona School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Cuenca, December 2–6. Architect Graziella Blengio (Spain) Academic Secretary of the School of Architecture. She delivered the lecture “Design of Commercial Spaces: Retail & Visual Merchandising” at the International Seminar on Interior Design “Practice in Different Fields,” organized by the University of Salamanca, and accompanied a group of 60 interior design students and professionals (including students and graduates from Universidad ORT Uruguay) who traveled from Montevideo to attend the seminar at the University of Salamanca, February 4–8. He also accompanied the group of interior design students and professionals on a visit to the city of Ávila on February 9, and to the city of Madrid on February 10 and 11. Architect Jorge Mígues (France) Full Professor of Workshop 1, Graphic Expression Techniques and Ephemeral Design. He exhibited his work as an artist from the Gaudí Gallery in Madrid at the 1st ART3F Contemporary Art Fair, which took place in Paris from February 1 to 3. ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES ABROAD 2019
