As part of the activities of the RIESAL Project (Regional Network for the Promotion of the Internationalization of Higher Education in Latin America), he was appointed as the representative of the School of Architecture to visit Delft University of Technology and the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, with the aim of presenting the Project and Universidad ORT Uruguay, to identify possible avenues for academic collaboration and student exchanges, Delft and Amsterdam, May 22–24. Dr. Laura Moya (Netherlands) Research professor at the Faculty of Architecture. She presented the paper “Experimental and numerical evaluation of the structural performance of Uruguayan Eucalyptus grandis finger-joint” at the International Scientific Conference on Hardwood Processing (ISCHP 2019), organized by Delft University of Technology, Delft, August 28–30. 28 Conducted in collaboration with Dr. Abel Vega, research professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of the Republic; Dr. Vanesa Baño, associate professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of the Republic; and Eng. Andrea Cardoso, consultant at the Department of Forestry Projects of the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay (LATU). Dr. Paula Cardellino (United Kingdom) Research professor at the School of Architecture. She completed a research stay at Newcastle University, invited by Dr. Pamela Woolner, Senior Lecturer in Education and faculty member at the Centre for Learning and Teaching, with whom she is working on the development of new lines of research on the design of school buildings and their impact on educational change, Newcastle upon Tyne, June 5–22.
