She participated as a speaker at the panel “Educational Reforms in Latin America: How Much Progress Have We Made in Educational Equity and Quality?” at the First International Seminar on Political Processes, Evaluation, and Educational Reforms in Latin America, held at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) in Mexico City on May 2 and 3. She delivered the opening lecture “Where is Teacher Education Headed: Trends and Challenges” at the seminar The New Model of Teacher Education in Peru, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and UNESCO’s Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean, Lima, March 28–29. She also delivered the lecture “The Training of Teacher Educators in Latin America and the Caribbean: Tensions, Trends, and Proposals” at the 2019 National Meeting of the Kipus Peru Network “Training of Trainers: Learning to Teach Future Teachers and In-Service Teachers,” which took place at the Faculty of Education of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Lima, August 6–9. She delivered the inaugural lecture of the Jacqueline Malagón Master Class, titled “Thinking Outside the Box: Innovation in Teacher Education,” at the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University, Santo Domingo, September 11. She also delivered the talk “Toward a Disruptive Approach to Teacher Education,” aimed at education authorities and directors from Dominican universities, in Santo Domingo on September 12.
