He met with Dr. Jorge Grünberg, rector , to discuss joint projects between the two institutions, June 27. Mr. John Bramwell (United Kingdom) Senior Higher Education Advisor at the British Council. He visited the university alongside Silvina Lindner, International Trade Officer at the British Embassy in Uruguay. They met with Eng. Julio Fernández, Vice Rector; Dr. Laura Diaz-Arnesto, Coordinator of Academic Projects; T.E. Pablo San Nicolás, Secretary of Academic Management; and Dr. María Azpiroz, Director of International Relations, to discuss the possibility of eventual mutual recognition of university degrees between the United Kingdom and Uruguay, October 10. Dr. Miroslav Ludwig (Czech Republic), Vice Rector for International Affairs at the University of Pardubice. Petr Gabriel (Czech Republic), Administrator at the University of Pardubice. They visited the university and met with Dr. María Azpiroz, Director of International Relations, and Miriam Kemna, M.A., Student Exchange Coordinator, to explore areas of academic collaboration between the two universities, December 2. Department of Jewish Studies Valeria Grimberg (Argentina) Director of the Young Diplomats Program at the Latin American Jewish Congress. She met with Dr. Jorge Grünberg, rector , to discuss educational initiatives currently underway in Buenos Aires and explore the possibility of implementing them in Uruguay, May 23. Rabbi Ariel Stofenmacher (Argentina) Rector Executive Director of the Marshall T. Meyer Latin American Rabbinical Seminary. He met with Dr. Jorge Grünberg, rector , to discuss projects of mutual interest, June 12. Prof. Santiago Kovadloff (Argentina) Writer, philosopher, translator, and professor. Member of the Academic and Scientific Committee at Ben-Gurion University, Israel. He delivered the lecture “The Jewish Condition in Paul of Tarsus,” November 20. Prof. Santiago Kovadloff
