They were received by Enrique Topolansky, coordinator of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), who gave them a tour of the CIE and introduced them to the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Center (CBI+I) alongside Carlos Sanguinetti, academic coordinator of Biotechnology and director of CBI+I, on November 20. He delivered the lecture “Blockchain Platforms” as part of the Blockchain Challenge, an event organized in collaboration with Thales LAB and IBM Uruguay, August 14. He delivered the lecture “The Potential of Blockchain” as part of the Blockchain Challenge, an event organized in partnership with Thales LAB and IBM Uruguay, August 14. They participated as presenters and judges at the Seedstars World Uruguay event, organized in partnership with Universidad ORT Uruguay, on August 27. Dr. Santiago Ini (Israel) Director of Business Development (Life Sciences) at T 3 - Technion Technology Transfer, the university-industry liaison and knowledge transfer division of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He visited the university accompanied by Sapir Efron, Consul and First Secretary of the Israeli Embassy in Uruguay, with the aim of touring the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the CIE BIO Biotechnology Incubator.
