Founding CEO of Light 47, a blockchain consulting services company. They visited the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship as part of the agreement signed between Universidad ORT Uruguay Aeternity, a leading multinational blockchain services company. They held a meeting with Eduardo Mangarelli, the designated dean of the School of Engineering, and Enrique Topolansky, coordinator of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, on December 13. He delivered the lecture “Blockchain Challenge: Pitch Presentation,” organized in collaboration with Thales LAB and IBM Uruguay, on November 27. Faculty of Engineering Romina Laumann (Germany) Senior Project Manager at the International Collaboration Center for Sustainable Chemistry (ISC3), an organization funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment. She visited the Department of Biotechnology and presented the objectives of ISC3 to Mag. Carlos Sanguinetti, academic coordinator of Biotechnology and director of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Center (CBI+I), and to Dr. Lorena Betancor, professor of Protein Technology and researcher at CBI+I. He also held meetings with entrepreneurs from the CIE BIO incubator on July 26. Dr. Víctor Braberman (Argentina) Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Dr. Diego Garbervetsky (Argentina) Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, UBA. Dr. Luis Olsina (Argentina) Full associate professor of Information Systems at the School of Engineering, National University of La Pampa. Dr. Sergio Lifschitz (Brazil) Associate professor and researcher in Databases with Applications in Bioinformatics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
