55 PROJECTS LAUNCHED OR APPROVED IN 2019 Institutional Erasmus+ KA107 International Mobility Projects The goal of these projects is to support student learning outcomes and the professional development of higher education staff through academic mobility for students and faculty. In 2019, six Erasmus+ projects were approved for Universidad ORT Uruguay the University of Valladolid, Spain; Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), Estonia; Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), Finland; Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands; Uppsala University, Sweden; and Sabanci University, Turkey. Project Lead: Laura Diaz Arnesto Funding: European Union Erasmus+ Program Duration: 36 months Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Aeternity Blockchain Entrepreneurship Challenge This project involves holding nine meetups in Uruguay and organizing four calls for proposals to solve problems using blockchain. The three best proposals will be incubated at the CIE with support from the Aeternity Blockchain Foundation. Project Lead: Enrique Topolansky Funding: Aeternity Blockchain Foundation Duration: 18 months Awareness Workshops for Blockchain Entrepreneurs This project involves the development of workshops aimed at fostering new ventures based on emerging blockchain technology.
