She presented the paper “An application of Fennell’s (1978) model of motivation for the analysis of self-esteem construction in adolescent girls” at the GIKA-Latam Conference 2019 (Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy), organized by the Catholic University of the Most Holy Conception, Concepción, January 15–17. Dr. Ricardo Kaufmann (Chile) Associate Professor of General Management. He presented the research paper “Are B-Corps ready to be a gateway to the job market for women and young people in Latin America? A prospective study of Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay” 17 at the PhD/ECR Latin American Academy - Doctoral/Early Career Consortium on Business, Enterprise, and Sustainable Development, held at the Universidad del Desarrollo, Santiago, Chile, March 6–8. 16 Conducted in collaboration with Ana Gudynas, Account Manager at ID Retail Uruguay, and Dr. Joel Saegert, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Marketing at the University of Texas at San Antonio, United States. 17 Conducted in collaboration with Gabriela Pérez Sbrocca, Cra., professor of General Administration at the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay, and Gonzalo Sobral, Lic., professor of Corporate Social Responsibility at the university’s Faculty of Communication and Design. Dr. Norma Pontet (Chile) Professor of Managerial Accounting and academic coordinator of Finance Programs. She delivered the lecture “The Cost of Inaction as an Input for Planning: Application in Waste Management and in the Determinants of Treatment Costs for Obesity and Overweight” as part of research exchanges conducted with the Business School of Adolfo Ibáñez University, Santiago, Chile, on April 4. She also taught the Management Control course for the MBA program at the Adolfo Ibáñez University Business School in Santiago, Chile, on June 7 and 8.
