Dr. José Rubén Morones-Ramírez (Mexico) Research Professor at the Center for Research in Biotechnology and Nanotechnology, Faculty of Chemical Sciences, Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He presented the virtual seminar “NanoBioEngineering in the Development of Smart Therapeutic Agents” as part of the Biotechnology Seminar Series #Biotecort, organized by the Chair of Protein Technology in the Department of Biotechnology, October 20. Dr. Maribel Fernández (United Kingdom) Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, King’s College London. She made an academic visit to the Faculty of Engineering, funded by the National Research and Innovation Agency as part of the FCE project “Type Control for Nominal Type Theory,” during which she participated in the project’s research activities alongside members of the Chair of Computer Theory, November 23–December 4.
