77 Auriblanco Basketball Club Students enrolled in the courses “Construction Procedures 4” and the elective “Steel Framing” as part of the Architecture program carried out practical construction work at the Auriblanco Basketball Club. The goal of this project was to provide hands-on experience outside the classroom, with the dual purpose of fulfilling educational objectives and collaborating with social organizations. The Auriblanco Basketball Club aims to promote values education and social inclusion for children, adolescents, seniors, and people with disabilities through teaching and the development of sports, recreational, artistic, and cultural activities in general. Architecture from Home Contest On April 14, the open contest “Architecture from Home” was launched on the faculty’s Instagram account, inviting each participant to submit up to three photographs of architecture of their own creation. The eight best entries were shortlisted by two faculty graduates, and the final winner was determined by public vote. Juan Andrés Nin Pastorino, the contest winner with his photo of the Taj Mahal, which received 3,473 votes, was awarded a full scholarship to take a professional development course professional development the School of Architecture. 2020 OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
