He presented the article “The Role of Active Learning in University Student Engagement, Learning, and Satisfaction” virtually at the 17th International Forum on the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education Quality (Fecies), organized by the University of Granada, the University of Seville, Pablo Olavide University, and the International University of Andalusia, November 25–27. Karen Szwarcfiter, B.A. (Spain) Lecturer in the Department of Marketing. She delivered the online lecture “The Importance of Purpose in Light of Neuroscience” at the 1st Congress of Applied Neurosciences organized by the Braidot Institute and the University of Salamanca, December 4–5. Sebastián Moreno (Finland) Adjunct Professor in the School of Management and Social Sciences. He presented the article “Interactions with others mediated by the represented self. A socio-semiotic approach” at NetPra2 - The Second International Conference on Internet Pragmatics, organized by the University of Helsinki, October 22–24. 20 Conducted in collaboration with Dr. Ximena Fernández Delucchi, Coordinator of Human Resources Programs at the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences of Universidad ORT Uruguay; Mag. Dinorah Margounato, Academic Coordinator of Marketing at the faculty, and Mag. Elena Vernazza, Research Assistant at the Institute of Statistics of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at the University of the Republic. Dr. Luis Silva Domingo (Mexico) Academic Coordinator of Innovation and Special Projects. He participated as a member of the AMBA reaccreditation panel at ITAM University in Mexico, one of the few institutions in the world to hold the AMBA, AACSB, and EQUIS triple crown, alongside Dr. Josep Franch, Dean of ESADE Business School (Spain), and Dr. Marion Debruyne, Dean of Vlerick Business School (Belgium), institutions that also hold the triple crown, May 18–20. Dr. Norma Pontet (Paraguay) Academic Coordinator of Graduate Programs in Finance and Professor of Management Accounting, as well as Chair of the Technical Commission on Accounting Research of the Inter-American Accounting Association (AIC). She presented on “The Light and Shadow of University Teaching During the Pandemic” at the international webinar for the 23rd National Accounting Congress, “The Accounting Profession and the Effects of COVID-19,” organized by the Paraguayan Institute of Certified Public Accountants, on September 25. Dr. Luis Silva Domingo (Peru) Academic Coordinator of Innovation and Special Projects. He participated as a guest lecturer at the 40th ESAN International Week – XL ESAN International Week, where he taught the courses “Innovation in Open Business Models” and “Tools for Strategy Implementation,” in Lima, January 13–17.
