50 Yearbook 2011 OUTREACH ACTIVITIES 2011 School of Communication and Design Recreación '11 Recreación is an academic space for collaboration with businesses that brings together, under the Integrative Project, proposals from students in their final semester of the Bachelor’s programs in Graphic, Industrial, and Fashion Design, through a tangible product created in partnership with a company, industry, or organization. In this edition, 38 companies participated, for which 71 projects were carried out. Since its first edition in 2007, 106 companies and 220 students have participated. ORT 16mm Program The School of Communication and Design organized the seventh edition of the ORT 16mm Program, aimed at graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication and the Technical Diploma in Audiovisual Production, with the objective of producing film material in 16mm format. It was supported by Kodak (Professional Cinema Division) and Musitelli Cine y Video. On March 3, the screening of the three short films produced took place at the Grupocine Complex in the Torre de los Profesionales. "Yo propongo" Communication Contest The School of Communication and Design organized the second edition of the "Yo propongo" communication contest, aimed at 11th and 12th-grade students from public and private high schools across the country. It was sponsored by Radio El Espectador, Urbana FM, Espectador.com, and Monte Carlo Televisión. Participants were required to develop original and unpublished communication proposals in the categories of Audiovisual, Corporate, Journalism, and Advertising. The jury selected the two best entries, which were awarded a full scholarship to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. The winners were: Yael Ferreira, a 12th-grade student at Liceo Mariano, for her work "La risa es cosa seria" (Journalism category), and Lorenzo Tocco, a 11th-grade student at Colegio Inglés, for his entry "Paranoia" (Audiovisual category). Hebraica Macabi, one of the participating institutions in Recreación '11
