94 2013 Yearbook María Beatriz Fernández Cordano, a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, and Sofía Ognjenovich, a student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. They were the winners of the “Identity Contest” for the Ibero-American Innovation Program, organized by the Brazilian Innovation Agency. They designed an acronym to represent the program, along with a logo and its visual identity. November. Gonzalo Ferrari Graduate of the Audiovisual Production Technician program. He won a Latin Grammy in the “Best Long-Form Music Video” category for his production of the DVD for the album “Mujer divina” by Mexican singer Natalia Lafourcade. The video was directed by Mexican filmmaker Juan Luis Covarrubias. November. Cindy Kleist Graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design. She won the First Prize in the “Hecho Acá” (Made Here) craft competition sponsored by Banco República, in the “Metals” category, for her jewelry collection at the 14th edition of the “Hecho Acá” exhibition. November. Vicente Lamónaca Instructor of the Typographic Design course. He won the “CLAP” award in the “Best Textbook Design” category for the book “Latin American Typography: A Current and Future Overview,” of which he is the editor. CLAP are international awards for design, branding, and communication organized by Foro Alfa, an international publication for communication professionals. November. Francesca Crossa Graduate of the Sound Design Technician program. She won the “Florencio 2013” award in the Sound Design category for her work on the play “What Others Think,” directed by Rodrigo Milesi. December. Ana Solari Instructor in the Writing department. She was recognized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Books with the Legión del Libro award, an honor given to those who contribute to the research, promotion, production, and dissemination of books and reading.
