102 2014 Yearbook Carolina Cynovich, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a focus on Audiovisual Media. She won the 2014 Sigmar-Mosca First Prize for Children’s and Young Adult Literature for her work *The Man Who Winds Up the World*. May. Sofía Escofet and Juan Pablo Steneri, students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising Communication, and Rodrigo Gastán, a graduate in Advertising Analysis. They won first prizes for the creative duo category at the 2014 Cannes Lions Young Creatives Competition, organized by the Uruguayan Advertising Circle and Filmsuez. Steneri, together with Sebastián Gavary, won the Gold Award for their piece Danza Kuduro. Rodrigo Gastán, together with Blanca Barrio, won the Silver Award for their piece “Mazapán.” Sofía Escofet, together with Leonel Delfino, won the Bronze Award for their piece “Mandala.” The duo that won the Gold Award represented Uruguay at the 2014 Young Lions competition in the Press category at the Cannes Festival. May. Valentina Baracco, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication program. The audiovisual project *Perkal, la memoria de un nombre*, produced by Baracco, was awarded at Documenta Bolivia Lab 2014. July. Additionally, the fictional television series *Las paquitas del humor*, produced by Baracco, was selected in the first call for entries of Montevideo Filma 2014, organized by Montevideo Socio Audiovisual. August. Carolina Campo, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication, and Gerardo Castelli, academic coordinator of the Audiovisual program. The documentary *El hombre congelado*, directed by Campo and produced by Castelli, won the award for Best Uruguayan Documentary at the 8th edition of the Atlantidoc International Documentary Film Festival.
