103 Juan Manuel Díaz, a graduate of the Graphic Design program, won the grand prize at the 2014 National Children’s and Young Adult Literature Illustration Award, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Meanwhile, Andrés Silva, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, was awarded in the Children’s Literature category, and Santiago Germano, a graduate of the Digital Animation Technician program, received an honorable mention. December. Cecilia González, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design. Her collection Curio received a special mention from the jury at the eighth edition of Lúmina, a fashion competition organized by Punta Carretas Shopping. March. Catalina Bunge, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design. She received an honorable mention at the 2013 Paul Cézanne Award, organized by the French Embassy in Uruguay. June. Francisco Hordeñana and Valentina Baracco, students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication. The short film El Asado, directed by Hordeñana and produced by Baracco as part of the ORT Digital Program, received an honorable mention from the jury of the Piriápolis International Film Festival.
