104 2014 Yearbook: José Luis Elizalde, graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. The short film *Goldie*, directed by Elizalde, was nominated in the Latin American Short Film Award and Distribution Award categories at the NotodoFilmFest short film festival, held in Madrid. This is the first time a short film produced in Uruguay has been nominated in both categories, for which it competed against 1,200 entries from around the world. June. She received an honorable mention in the Verse and Prose Poetry category at the 2014 National Literature Award for her book *Cantos al fauno*. November. Fernando Díaz, Lautaro Hourcade, Vicente Lamónaca, and Martín Sommaruga, graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, and Sebastián Salazar, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. The typefaces Fénix by Mr. Díaz, Gafata Std by Mr. Hourcade, Muzarela Std and Económica Std by Mr. Lamónaca, Rambla Alt by Mr. Sommaruga, and Sedán by Sebastián Salazar were selected to be part of the 2014 Top 100 Free Fonts by Awwwards, an organization that honors and recognizes the talent and effort of the world’s best designers, developers, and web agencies.
