56 2014 Yearbook, School of Communication and Design Skatemáticas The main objective of this project is to demonstrate that mathematics can be taught in Uruguay in an entertaining and effective way, even outside the formal classroom setting. It consists of developing a set of simulations that, while not technically video games, allow for the creation of a virtual world in which learning occurs through experimentation and trial and error. Funding: National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) Duration: 12 months Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences Trade Effects of Technical Requirements and Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures: Methodological Proposal, Estimation, and Lessons The objective is to develop a methodological strategy to quantify the positive and negative trade effects of technical requirements and sanitary and phytosanitary standards on Latin American countries. Project Leader: Juan Labraga, Associate Professor of International Trade.
