68 2014 Yearbook School of Communication and Design “24 Hours of Creativity for Escuela Horizonte” Contest The School of Communication and Design organized the “24 Hours” creative contest, which took place on November 21 at the Torre de los Profesionales. The goal was to develop an advertising campaign for Escuela Horizonte, which serves children with cerebral palsy. A total of 23 students from the Advertising Analyst, Social Media Analyst and Community Management, Marketing Analyst, and Graphic Design programs participated in this creative contest, divided into three teams. The jury selected as the contest winner the campaign proposal “A school with room for three million hearts. “Give your smile to more than 100 children with cerebral palsy,” submitted by the team consisting of Delfina Delgado Wild (Advertising Analyst), Santiago Arbondo and Carolina Teliz (Social Media and Community Management Analysts), Tomás Martul (Marketing Analyst), and Virginia Martínez Misa (Graphic Designer). The team was led by Sebastián Genolet, a graduate of the Advertising Analyst program and creative copywriter at the Punto Ogilvy agency. The jury consisted of Ignacio Vallejo, director of the advertising agency Amén; Pablo Marqués, CEO of the advertising agency Punto Ogilvy; Agustina Zuasnábar, digital director of the digital marketing agency Wasabi; Montserrat Ramos, professor of advertising at the faculty; and Eduardo Zeballos, general coordinator of Escuela Horizonte. National Video Game and Educational Software Competition The Ingenio Incubator, Antel, and Universidad ORT Uruguay the ninth edition of the “National Video Game and Educational Software Competition.” Participants submitted proposals in two categories: Video Games and Educational Applications.
