Nicolás Gambetta, academic coordinator of the Graduate Programs in Accounting and Taxation, and Norma Pontet, professor of Management Accounting. They were named Inter-American Ambassadors by the organizers of the 32nd Inter-American Conference on Accounting. March. Natalia Díaz Kopec, graduate of the Technical Program in Tourism Management. She was selected for the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Professional Fellows programme, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. August. Nathan Schorr, graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Administration. TiZKKA, an online fashion platform developed by Schorr alongside Gabriel Roizner, was chosen by Fast Company magazine as one of the ten most innovative startups in Latin America in 2016. April. Nadim Curi and Marcelo Dotti, graduates of the Master’s in Technology Business Management. Their company CityCop, incubated at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, was one of the startups selected from among 1,900 companies worldwide to participate in the Start-Up Chile program. June. Federico Wynter, graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies. His essay “From Lemkin to Kurdi: an essay on global citizenship” was one of the winners of the United Nations’ Many Languages One World contest among 3,600 applicants from around the world. July.
