119 AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS 2017 Nicolás Gambetta School of Management and Social Sciences, academic coordinator of the Graduate Programs in Accounting and Taxation. He received the COALAR Australia–Latin America Young Entrepreneur Award from the Australian government’s Council on Australia–Latin America Relations (COALAR) for his outstanding work at the university’s Center for Australian Studies. May. In addition, his research article “Stress test impact and bank risk profile: evidence from Europe,” co-authored with María Antonia García-Benau and Ana Zorio Grima of the University of Valencia, received the Best Paper Award from the journal International Review of Economics and Finance at the 7th Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy Conference, held at the Lisbon School of Economics & Management, Universidade de Lisboa. June. Nadim Curi, a graduate of the Master’s in Technology Business Management – ICT. He was selected by MIT Technology Review as one of the 35 most outstanding young people under 35 in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Latin America in 2017 for his startup CityCop, supported by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. October. Nathan Schorr, graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Administration, and Gabriel Roizner. Their app Tizkka was chosen by Google as one of the five standout apps of the year in the “Best Everyday Helpers” category. December. Félix Abadi, professor of Taxation. He was elected president of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies, composed of professionals in law and economics. June. Ryan Montgomery, Air New Zealand’s manager for the State of New South Wales, and Nicolás Gambetta during the Coalar award ceremony.
