They presented the paper “Challenges Faced by ‘Newcomers’ to Ongoing Software Projects” at the 23rd Argentine Congress on Computer Science (CACIC 2017), organized by the Network of National Universities with Computer Science Programs (RedUNCI) and the National University of La Plata, October 9–13, 2017. They participated and accompanied the two winning teams from the 17th ORT Programming Contest to the Latin American Regional Competition of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) International Programming Contest, which took place at the University of Buenos Aires on November 11. Dr. Nora Szasz (Argentina) Academic Coordinator of Systems Engineering. Dr. Álvaro Tasistro (Argentina) Professor of Computer Science and Academic Coordinator of the Master’s in Engineering (Research Track). They made an academic visit to the Faculty of Mathematics, Astronomy, and Physics at the National University of Córdoba to collaborate with researchers from that faculty on the bilateral cooperation project with Argentina between ANII (National Agency for Research and Innovation) and CONICET (National Council for Scientific and Technical Research) “Dependent Type Theory: Meta-theory and Applications,” Córdoba, December 12–14. Alejandro Adorjan, Eng. (Brazil) Associate Academic Coordinator of Systems Engineering. He presented the paper “24 hours of innovation - A report on students' and teachers' perspectives as a way to foster entrepreneurship competencies in Engineering” at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) World Engineering Education Conference – Edunine 2017, São Paulo, March 19–22. 6 Conducted in collaboration with Dr. Gerardo Matturro, research professor in the Department of Software Engineering at the School of Engineering and associate academic coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Systems at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
