She held meetings at Deakin University to plan and advance research for the joint project between Universidad ORT Uruguay Deakin University, “Smart Data: Developing Social Media Literacy in Pre-Adolescent Students,” for which Dr. Cardozo serves as principal investigator, Melbourne, November 19–27. Mag. Andrea Tejera (Chile) Academic Coordinator of the Master’s in Educational Management. She participated in the follow-up meeting of the ORACLE Project (Regional Observatory for Quality and Equity in Higher Education), in the General Assembly of the International Network for Educational Management Support (Red AGE), and in the international conference “School Management in Ibero-America: Advances and Challenges,” which took place at the University of Talca, Santiago, Chile, April 9–11. Dr. Denise Vaillant (Chile) Academic Secretary of the Institute of Education. She led a workshop on teacher training for doctoral candidates in the Doctoral Program at Diego Portales University as part of the agreement between the Doctoral Program at Diego Portales University and Alberto Hurtado University, Santiago, Chile, April 9–12. She served on the thesis committee for María Paz González Vallejos’s doctoral thesis, titled “Beliefs as a Critical Component of the Professional Development of Science Education Instructors,” on April 9. Delivered the lecture “Thinking Outside the Box: Innovation in the Field of Teacher Education” at the 2018 Regional Workshop on Innovation in Teacher Education organized by the Colombian Ministry of Education and the Regional Program for the Development of the Teaching Profession in Latin America and the Caribbean, Bogotá, October 25–26.
