73 Recreación 18: “Real-World Design Experiences in Uruguay” Recreación is an academic platform for collaboration with companies that brings together, under the Integrative Project, proposals from senior students in the Bachelor’s programs in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Multimedia Design. In this edition, held from February 20 to 22, 46 companies participated, for which 58 projects were carried out. Some of the participating companies and institutions were: Black and Liberty, Bodega De Lucca, Forward High School, La Libélula Libros, Pappolino Design, Pink Lady, Positano, Rotunda, Savia, Sinergia Store, Stadium, and Viñedos y Bodegas Santa Rosa. Fashion at the Centenario Guided by the prose of Eduardo Galeano and set to the rhythm of an urban musical performance, six seventh-semester students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design presented their collections at the BRÍO Fashion Club event, which took place on July 27 at the bar of the official box in the América stand of the Centenario Stadium. The event sought to convey the essence and identity of Uruguayans through a symbol as passionate and popular as soccer, as well as to communicate fashion from a different perspective, changing its structures and redefining them in new spaces.
