74 2018 Yearbook Social Media Day Uruguay On August 8, the sixth edition of the Social Media Day Uruguay seminar took place, organized by Antel and the School of Communication and Design. Speakers from Uruguay and abroad analyzed the digital revolution in the context of social media. The event, which brought together 9 national and international speakers, drew more than 500 attendees in the hall and offered the opportunity to follow it live via streaming on Vera TV, as well as on social media. 5th Sinergia Educational Forum “Art, Design, Communication, and Technology” On August 29, the Faculty of Communication and Design organized the 5th Sinergia Educational Forum “Art, Design, Communication, and Technology.” More than 80 secondary school teachers from public and private schools across the country participated, along with international speakers and university professors working in fields related to the social sciences and the arts.
