Inés Friss de Kereki, professor of Programming. The video submitted to the “Genias de las Ciencias” contest by School No. 153 Manuel Oribe in Parque del Plata, which narrates Dr. Friss de Kereki’s career from the students’ perspective, won first place in the competition. The goal of this second edition of the contest, organized by Antel, was for students to research and work on the lives of outstanding women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. November. Guillermo de Armas, Diego Pizzarello, and Agustín Rostagnol, Systems Engineering students. They ranked in the top 9.6% of the regional finals of the International Collegiate Programming Contest held in Buenos Aires. November. Likewise, Marcel Cohen, Eusebio Durán, and Mauricio Pisabarro, Systems Engineering students, placed in the top 10.7%. November.
