Her illustrations *The future is female* (Editorial category) and *I don’t dress for you* (Exploration category) were among the 500 shortlisted entries out of 4,300 submissions from around the world to compete in the 2020 World Illustration Awards, organized for the past 45 years by the Association of Illustrators. June. Kaare Aguerre and Pilar Martínez Dalmás, graduates of the Audiovisual Production Technician program, and Agustina De Rosa Arnaig, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a focus on Audiovisual Studies. Their works *Cerrá la puerta*, *Sex0*, and *Que sean otras las armas*, respectively, were selected for exhibition at the 8th edition of Detour, a festival that honors the best of emerging national cinema. October. Gustavo Maca Wojciechowski, professor in the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design program. Five book covers developed for his publishing house Yaugurú were included in the Graphic Design and Visual Communication category of the 7th Ibero-American Design Biennial held in Madrid. November. Likewise, the visual identity for the Uruguayan organic craft beer brand Oceánica, created by the design and visual identity studio Mundial—comprising Martín Azambuja and Francisco Cunha, graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, along with Juan Pablo Palarino—was selected in the Graphic Design and Visual Communication category. November. In addition, the visual identity for the Uruguayan premium craft cider brand Libertaria, created by the design and visual identity studio Estudioanimal—composed of Santiago Dutour, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, alongside Santiago Uribe—was selected in the Graphic Design and Visual Communication category.
