The National Video Game Competition is Uruguay's largest platform for the creation of digital entertainment. The eighth edition is organized byAntel, the Ingenio incubator (LATU), and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
The main goal is to encourage the development of video games in our country. This year’s competition will feature two categories: video games and educational software. Entries may be submitted through Thursday, October 31.

- 1st Prize -Round-trip airfare to San Francisco, including lodging and admission to the Game Developer Conference (GDC), the world's leading event in video game development.
- 2nd prize -A tablet and a high-end cell phone.
