    Through its Center for Continuing Education in Higher Education (CAES), Universidad ORT Uruguay its faculty members so they can improve the quality of the education they provide.

    It offers ongoing professional development through free seminars and workshops to anyone interested in enhancing their teaching skills.

  • Awards for Teaching Excellence

    Each school awards at least one Teaching Excellence Award annually. This award recognizes the quality of instruction provided by faculty members who regularly teach courses, as well as the learning achievements of their students. The recipients embody the values, practices, and dedication to teaching that the university recognizes as the standards every faculty member in our academic community should strive to meet.

    Our faculty consists of more than 1,500 professors and researchers selected for their professional expertise, dedication, and teaching skills, including more than 180 professors who hold PhDs or are doctoral candidates.

Student Surveys

The university conducts a student survey at the end of each semester to gather students' feedback on various aspects of infrastructure and operations, as well as on courses and faculty performance.

    Artificial intelligence tools

    Since late 2022, AI-based solutions capable of generating various types of content—such as text, code, images, music, and video—have become widely available.

    The university is encouraging and supporting teachers to explore these generative tools and experiment with them in the classroom.
