The university conducts a student survey at the end of each semester to gather students' feedback on various aspects of infrastructure and operations, as well as on courses and faculty performance.
This survey is a valuable tool for quality improvement, both for faculty members and for the various levels of academic coordination and administration.
As soon as data collection is complete, instructors can access the survey results and students’ comments on the courses they took online—in a private setting.
The online survey portal allows users to access past results and perform more detailed analyses.
View the survey results
To access the student surveys conducted for the courses they teach, instructors must log in to the Staff Portal using the same username and password used for Aulas.
Next, select the “Instructor” tab at the top of the page, and then click on “Student Surveys” in the navigation menu on the left.
From there, you can also view active courses, students enrolled in each course, and so on.
How surveys are conducted
Document 1046, titled “Student Surveys and Their Use at Universidad ORT Uruguay,” outlines the data collection methodology and provides answers to frequently asked questions about these surveys.
After the results were announced
The university recommends that faculty members review the survey results together with their department chair, academic coordinator, or other academic leaders in the school, who can assist in interpreting the data.
Where to get training
The university's Center for Continuing Education in Higher Education (CAES) has updated its courses and activity formats to better meet the needs for training and pedagogical guidance in ways that are most convenient for faculty members.
In addition to the courses, this center can work with professors and instructors to organize other specific support activities.
