AMBA Accreditation
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme was reaccredited by AMBA, one of the world's most prestigious accrediting bodies, in October 2025.
This achievement places the MBA among the top 6% of accredited master's degrees in the world.
Mercosur Accreditation
Accreditations obtained through the Mercosur Academic Quality Accreditation Mechanism for University Programs (ARCU-SUR System), administered by the Mercosur Network of National Accreditation Agencies.

Systems Engineering
The Systems Engineering programme received ARCU SUR accreditation in December 2022, which signifies a guarantee and recognition of academic quality.
This is the first accreditation the program has received after voluntarily applying during the first round of applications.

Architecture
In December 2022, Architecture was accredited, for the third consecutive time, within the ARCU-SUR System for a maximum period of six years.
On June 28, 2023, the accreditation was awarded by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Bachelor's Degree in Economics
The Economics programme at Universidad ORT Uruguay received ARCU SUR accreditation in December 2021, the Regional Accreditation System for University Programmes.
It is the first economics program in the country to receive this distinction.

Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering
In September 2025, the Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering programmes were accredited by the ARCU-SUR system for a period of five years.
In June 2019, the School of Engineering received accreditation certificates for its Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering programs, as well as a new accreditation that was extended through 2025.

The ORT Faculty of Architecture is the highest-ranked in Uruguay in the Buildner ranking, an entity that organises architecture competitions worldwide.

2019 Survey: Profile of the College Student (PRO Universitarios)
The study was conducted by PRO Universitarios using data collected and analyzed by the polling firm Grupo Radar. The results are based on an online survey of students at the University of the Republic (Udelar) and private universities in Uruguay. The fieldwork was conducted between October 24 and November 10, 2019.
