The coordinator's paper will be included in the book "Judaism and Modernity: Their Multiple Interrelationships"

The paper "The Anti-Immigration Campaign in *La Tribuna Popular* and *El Debate. 1936–1937," delivered by David Telias, Coordinator of the Department of Jewish Studies, at the "IV Brazilian Conference on Jewish Studies" held in November 2005 in Rio de Janeiro, will be included in the book "Judaism and Modernity: Their Multiple Interrelationships."
The book is being published to mark the launch of the "5th Brazilian Conference on Jewish Studies," which will take place at the State University of Rio de Janeiro in December 2008.
