Lecture : "Startup, Get Revenues, Exit" by Maximiliano De Muro

On May 12, the lecture "Startup, Get Revenues, Exit" by Maximiliano De Muro took place in the Auditorium of the School of Engineering. The event was organized by Vincular—the school’s University-Business Liaison Office.

The speaker is a 29-year-old“serial entrepreneur”born in Uruguay. In his short but intense business career, he already has two successes under his belt: “SX Networks,” an internet company specializing in social media and Web 2.0 (sold in 2008 to an Internet conglomerate in Spain) and “MediaGambling,” the world’s largest gaming “network sites” company, which was acquired in 2009 by its main competitor, Barcelona-based “CMedia.”

He is currently a business angel for two startups related to luxury tourism and online medical information, and is in theprocessofmerginghis latest venture,“Latin Interactive Gaming,” into the company“Malta Mediterranean Gaming,” where he will serve as CEO and Board Member. He is also involved with CMedia (Barcelona) and “Grupo Crea” (Mallorca) as a Strategic Advisor on various issues related to online gaming and social media.
