Conference: "Middle Management: Its Role and Challenges for the 21st Century"

On Tuesday, August 17, the lecture "Middle Management: Its Role and Challenges for the 21st Century" was held in the Auditorium of the School of Business and Social Sciences. The lecture was presented by Enrique Kramer, C.A., Academic Coordinator of Management and Professor of Strategic Management at the school.

In the 21st century, the vast majority of industries will continue to transform into what experts call "knowledge industries." This brings with it enormous challenges and significant changes, not only in the external dynamics of companies but also in how they are managed and communicate internally. In this context, the most significant changes within companies—particularly in Uruguay—will occur at the middle management level, as middle managers occupy a strategic position both for daily operations and for achieving effective communication. What are the essential elements and requirements for middle managers today and in the future?
