Seminar on “Innovation and Creativity”

On April 16, 2012, the seminar “Innovation and Creativity” began at the School of Management and Social Sciences, led by Juan Carro Casabó, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Autonomous University of Querétaro (Mexico). The seminar addressed creativity as the foundation of innovation, emphasizing the need to spark curiosity and move away from conventional ideas and formal procedures. From April 9 to 19, 2012, Mr. Carro Casabó also led the “Workshop on Difficult Conversations” for the Diploma in Human Resources and the Master’s in Human Resources Management.

The course content covered the following topics: types of thinking, basic functions of lateral thinking, models and mind maps, environment, creative methods and processes, and the innovation process in organizations.

Mr. Carro Casabó is a facilitator for programmes on creativity, personal development, teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and nonviolent conflict resolution.
