Prof. Winter holds a master’s degree in Contemporary Judaism from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with a specialization in Jewish Education for the Diaspora at the university’s Melton Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History. He is a columnist for the weekly *Semanario Hebreo* and the monthly *Identidad*. He is vice president of the Montevideo Holocaust Memorial Center. He is a member of the Press and Public Relations Commission of the Central Israeli Committee of Uruguay and a member of the Jewish-Christian Fellowship of Uruguay.
