Visiting Professors in Graduate Programs at the School of Management and Social Sciences

Dr. César Omar López Ávila, Full Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at the School of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente (Colombia), taught the course “Social and Environmental Accounting” from December 9 to 13, 2013, as part of the Specialization Diploma in Accounting and the Master’s Program in Taxation and Accounting Standards - IFRS.

For her part, Prof. Yanira Petrides, a professor at the School of Management and Accounting at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico, taught the Ethics Seminar from December 16 to 20, 2013, as part of the Specialization Diploma in Accounting and the Master’s in Accounting and Finance.

López Ávila holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Seville. He holds a degree in Public Accounting from La Gran Colombia University.

Prof. Petrides holds a Master of Accounting from Florida International University and a Master of Philosophy from Anáhuac del Sur University (Mexico).
