The Paganza startup, supported by the CIE (Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship), was selected as one of the top 21 apps in the seventh edition of the Mobile Premiere Awards. These apps were chosen by an international jury from among the winners of the local editions of AppCircus, an award that Paganza won in November 2013.

On February 24, 2014, this app competed at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona for the title of world's best app.

The jury paid particular attention to the innovation and creativity of each of the 21 applications.

This year's lineup included Andy Abramson, founder of Comunicano; Simon Lee, co-founder and head of design at Incubio; Ouriel Ohayon, co-founder and director of Appsfire; and James Parton, director of marketing for Europe at Twilio, among other prominent figures.

Paganza is a financial services app. It is a startup led by Marcelo Lanfranconi, a systems engineer from Universidad ORT Uruguay, and Leonardo Vernazza, a computer engineer from the University of the Republic.
