The signing ceremony, held at the Sheraton Hotel, was attended by the Canadian Ambassador to Uruguay, Claire A. Poulin, and representatives from the Catholic University of Uruguay. Representing Universidad ORT Uruguay the Dean of the School of Communication and Design, Eduardo Hipogrosso, the Academic Secretary of the School of Design, Oscar Aguirre, and the Student Exchange Coordinator, Miriam Kemna, who was in charge of translation for the event.
