An article by faculty members from the School of Architecture was presented at a conference organized by the Forest Products Society

The article “Mechanical properties of loblolly and slash pine timber from Uruguayan plantations,” co-authored by faculty researchers from the School of Architecture, was presented at the “68th Forest Products Society International Convention, World Conference on Timber Engineering.” The event, organized by the Forest Products Society, took place from August 10 to 13, 2014, in Quebec City, Canada.

The authors are:
- Dr. Laura Moya, Professor of Structures 4 and Research Faculty Member at the School of Architecture.
- María Fernanda Laguarda, Research Faculty Member at the School of Architecture.
- Andrea Cardoso, Junior Consultant in the Forestry Projects Department at the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay (LATU).
- Matías Cagno, Junior Consultant in the Forestry Projects Department at LATU.
- Francisco Gatto, Research Technologist at LATU.
- Hugo O'Neill, Senior Consultant in the Forestry Projects Department at LATU.

The article was presented by Dr. Moya.
