Academic Event: “Nostra Aetate: Memory and Prophecy. Building a Peaceful Society Through Dialogue”

As part of the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council’s declaration “Nostra Aetate,” an academic event titled “Nostra Aetate: Memory and Prophecy. Building a Peaceful Society Through Dialogue” was held on September 30, 2015, in the Aula Magna of the “Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga” Catholic University of Uruguay. The event was organized by the Uruguayan Episcopal Conference and the Central Israeli Committee of Uruguay, with the support of the Latin American Jewish Congress, the Jewish-Christian Fellowship, the Catholic University of Uruguay, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
Speakers at the event:

- Cardinal Daniel Sturla, Archbishop of Montevideo.
- Claudio Epelman, Director of the Latin American Jewish Congress.
- Dr. Leonardo Guzmán, former Minister of Education and Culture.
