AMBA accreditation is granted following a review by a panel of peer evaluators of more than a hundred criteria, most of which are qualitative. These criteria cover aspects such as the institution’s history and development, facilities and libraries, faculty quality, teaching standards and research track record, programmes administration programmes professional services, student admission policies, student diversity and size, curriculum content, program format and duration, and learning outcomes.
“We are proud to have obtained this reaccreditation through 2020, for five years—the maximum possible—which, at the local level at this time, only ORT’s MBA holds. It recognizes the level of education that our Graduate School provides in Uruguay, and from our country, for the region and the world,” notes the dean of the School of Social Sciences and Administration, Dr. Gastón J. Labadie.
“A distinction of this kind is only possible thanks to the tremendous daily effort of our faculty members, who are at the forefront both in teaching and in the production of case studies, as well as their level of training and global perspective. It is also thanks to our students and graduates, who excel day by day in business at the local, regional, and global levels, strengthening the bonds of an increasingly powerful and significant alumni community,” states the dean.
On its 25th anniversary, this reaccreditation represents a significant recognition of the academic quality of the faculty, students, and graduates of the MBA program, a pioneer in the country. The faculty extends its gratitude to all of them, as well as to the MBA Advisory Board.
