Seminar: Introduction to University Teaching

October 30, 2015
From October 7 to 21, 2015, the seminar “Introduction to University Teaching” (online format) was held, organized by the Center for Continuing Education in Higher Education (CAES) of the Institute of Education, and aimed at university faculty members. It was led by Mag. Liliana Jabif, a consultant in teacher training for the International Bureau of Education (IBE-UNESCO) and the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP-UNESCO, Buenos Aires Regional Office).

Universities are increasingly implementing pedagogical strategies to support faculty members, with the aim of helping them effectively address the challenges of their role. In particular, the university considers it important that the ORT hallmark be reflected in the quality of the teaching provided. To that end, this course is designed to guide practicing faculty members from the university’s perspective.

Mag. Jabif holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences – Subject Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Lund University, Sweden. She is the Academic Coordinator of CAES.
